POLISHED CONCRETE - ULTRAFLOOR SURFACE FINISH
After grinding, concrete floors are honed and polished using different levels of diamond grit to achieve the desired gloss or shine level. The finer the diamond grit used, the higher the degree of shine.
The finish (either matte, satin, or gloss) is achieved in different ways. For polished concrete, the concrete is polished using finer grits of diamond abrasives until the floor reaches the desired level of shine. There is no Guarantee on the surface finish being completely consistent throughout and the polishing process can vary and can have varied patches.

As a general rule Mechanically Polished Concrete is considered slip resistant – but like many other flooring options it WILL BE SLIPPERY WHEN WET or DUSTY.
